In the summer, you can grab the ridiculously popular Peach Milkshake. Now that the holidays are nearly here, the chain has announced that the fan-favorite Chick-fil-A Peppermint Milkshake will return, bringing festive flavor to America’s third-largest fast-food chain.
What is the seasonal shake?
This treat is described in the announcement as a “Hand-spun Chick-fil-A Icedream dessert with bits of peppermint bark chips combined for a cool and creamy holiday treat.”
Chick-fil-A first introduced the Peppermint Milkshake in 2008, making this year the 16th go-around. Fans have used such descriptions as “Literally the best milkshake I have ever had” and “tastes like Christmas,” with many lauding its strong minty flavor.
When does the peppermint milkshake come out?
The Peppermint Chip Milkshake will be available starting November 18. Two other seasonal drinks will hit the menu, too: Peppermint Iced Coffee and Peppermint Chip Frosted Coffee, both of which were first introduced for the 2023 holiday season.
The Iced Coffee features cold brew blended with peppermint syrup and pure cane syrup, while the Frosted Coffee blends cold brew and peppermint syrup with Icedream and peppermint bark chips for a bit of crunch.
If you’re wondering which one is most photogenic, let it be known that only the Peppermint Chip Milkshake is pink.
How long will it be available?
Though the beverages are listed as limited-time releases, there’s no definitive end date listed; this typically varies by location, as supplies will last longer in some restaurants than others. Still, you should be able to get your hands on one through the end of December. Regardless, you might want to seek one out prior to your next social gathering, because the brand has a recipe for Peppermint Milkshake Pie that would please any potluck crowd.
