In a few months summer will be here, which obviously means it’s time to get ready for peach lemonade margaritas, summer recipes and more. DQ just kicked off spring by revealing the Churro Dipped Cone, and they’re set to make summer even better with the new Summer Blizzard Treat Menu. Dairy Queen has brought back some classic summer flavors, but there are two brand-new Blizzards as well in anticipation of the summer season.
Plus, DQ is introducing a new way to get Blizzards for just 85 cents. We know, it sounds too good to be true. Here’s how you can get yours.
DQ Now Has Five Summer Blizzards
You read that right. Dairy Queen Summer Blizzards are finally here, and of course, the Cotton Candy Blizzard is one of ’em. Each flavor is as mouthwatering as the last. The menu has something to satisfy all peanut butter fans and chocolate lovers, so no one will be left out.
- Peanut Butter Puppy Chow Blizzard Treat: This brand-new Blizzard is made with peanut butter puppy chow pieces (a cereal mixture), peanut butter and chocolate chunks, all blended with classic DQ soft serve. Yum!
- Oreo Brookie Blizzard Treat: Hello, Oreo cookie pieces and brookie (brownie and cookie) pieces blended with DQ’s vanilla soft-serve! Welcome to the menu!
- S’mores Blizzard Treat: Your favorite marshmallow-filled chocolates and graham blended with DQ’s signature soft serve for a cool treat that’s perfect to beat the heat. See how DQ makes a S’mores Blizzard Treat, below!

How Can I Get Blizzards For Just 85 Cents?
The only thing better than enjoying these fantastic new summer treats? Enjoying them at a discount! Since the iconic Dairy Queen Blizzards were invented in 1985, DQ is celebrating by offering Blizzards for just 85 cents. For real, it can’t get better than that!
From April 10 to the 23rd, DQ fans can use the official Dairy Queen app to take advantage of the deal. What a treat!
When Can I Get ‘Em?
Lucky for us, these decadent Blizzards are already available at your local Dairy Queen. Keep in mind the summer menu is a limited-time-only deal at participating locations, so you’ll have to swoop in to scoop up all this goodness ASAP.
