Christmas sweaters, and more importantly, ugly Christmas sweaters, have become an absolute staple of holiday culture. Am I a wearer of Christmas sweaters? Depends on the design. Will I be wearing the new McDonald’s Christmas sweaters that I heard about from @snackolator on Instagram? You bet your McD’s chicken nuggets I will be!
In 2023, McDonald’s gave us the adorable Grimace Christmas sweater as the perfect bow on top of a Grimace-filled year. Our purple fuzzy friend was all over the place thanks to his birthday shake and flourishing social media presence. Honestly, I think he became the most popular McDonald’s food mascot last year.
For the 2024 holiday season, the chain brought back its Grimace sweater and two brand-new designs. Now you can snag a bright red sweater patterned with McDonald’s legendary french fries and a dark red sweater decorated with the legendary McRib (which is out right now). They truly are the most foolproof present for all the McDonald’s lovers out there.
Where do I find McDonald’s sweaters?
You can head over to the McDonald’s merch site that has all the sweaters and more, like socks, slippers and stockings. Each sweater is $65 by itself, but be wary—shipping is almost $20. Then again, what’s a single shipping charge in the face of numerous Christmas seasons decked out in the most delicious sweater around? Think of it as the perfect conversation starter.
How long will holiday merch be available?
The McDonald’s sweaters will only be around while supplies last, and no surprise, they’re going fast. Some items on the site have already sold out, and we’re not sure if they’ll be restocked before the end of the season.
