In Oreo's first-ever swirled creme, salted caramel and shortbread create a symphony of deliciousness.

This Is What Oreo’s First-Ever Swirl Flavor Tastes Like

I’m a semi-official Oreo taste tester. My credentials include eating nearly every variation the creators at Oreo come up with, including the Godzilla-sized Most Oreo Oreo and the seasonal, wonderful Hot Cocoa Oreos. Of course, I had to rock my way over to sample the latest innovation: Post Malone Oreos.
Post Malone is a multiple-Grammy-nominee, multi-face-tattooed singer who’s sold millions of records, and collaborated with such superstars as Taylor Swift and Beyoncé. Now, he’s collaborating with Oreo.
What are the Post Malone Oreos?
Post Malone is apparently a fan of salted caramel (SAME!) and shortbread, and these Oreos have a pretty, swirled creme filling that mixes those two delectable flavors. It’s reportedly the first-ever Oreo swirled center. The filling is enclosed by one classic Oreo chocolate cookie wafer and one golden Oreo cookie wafer.
The cookies are embossed with nine different designs picked by Post Malone himself. There’s a sunflower inspired by one of his songs, several vinyl record designs, a guitar pick design and a butterfly that represents the cover design on his “Twelve Carat Toothache” album. We hope the Oreos won’t give you a toothache of any carat level.
What do the Post Malone Oreos taste like?
Stephen Colbert tasted one on his show, and cracked, “Much like Post Malone’s face, it’s sweet but there’s a lot competing for my attention.”
Colbert knows his stuff—there’s a lot going on in Posty’s Oreos. But, like a great song, it all comes together in perfect harmony.
I’m not usually a fan of the golden Oreo cookies, but they work nicely with the traditional chocolate wafer here. The swirled creme is fun to look at and super tasty. Could a blindfolded me have determined that it was salted caramel and shortbread? No, never. but it’s sweet and creamy and just different enough from the regular Oreo creme to be a fun change.
Where can I find the Post Malone Oreos?
Start checking the cookie aisle at your store. Post Malone Oreos should be available nationwide beginning February 3. But when they run out, they’re gone, so post up at Target or Walmart to wait for the rollout!
