  • Big Lots: Closing hours will vary based on the location, with stores opening at 7 a.m.
  • CVS: CVS may not be a grocery store, but it can be perfect for picking up essentials and more! This year, many CVS locations will be open with typical hours. However, the store’s pharmacy hours may be reduced or completely closed—aka you’ll want to check your local CVS to see.
  • Dollar General: You can make a stop at Dollar General from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on this year’s Thanksgiving day—or night! Just not in Maine, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, due to state laws that prevent stores from being open on the big day.
