One of my favorite destinations for affordable holiday goods, Target, just debuted a 3-piece matelasse quilt set that looks straight off the set of Christmas in Connecticut. Available in three colors and two sizes, it’s the ideal way to spruce up a bedroom for the holiday season. And it’s getting bought up fast.

The Target Christmas quilt is sold under the Threshold house brand. It’s available in king or queen/full sizes, as well as three patterns. Choose from geometric red and white, subtle ivory snowflakes or classic Christmas trees. Each quilt is also reversible so you can switch up the style from season to season.

Now, what sets this quilt apart from others on the market is the fabric. The bedding uses a French weaving technique called matelasse, which yields a puffy texture. It’s very similar to traditional quilting but without the need for complex stitches.

As we’d expect at this price point, the linen is made of a recycled polyester-rayon blend and has a medium weight. When it’s time to store for the season, simply machine wash and tumble dry.
