Elizabeth Ann Quirino is a New Jersey-based award-winning journalist, food writer, cookbook author, and memoirist. Previously a college professor and advertising creative director, Elizabeth develops recipes on Filipino home cooking on her website, The Quirino Kitchen. She was born in the Philippines, and raised in Tarlac province. Her recently published food and history memoir – Every Ounce of Courage: A Daughter's Reflections On Her Mother's Bravery was inspired by stories of her mother's courage and heroism. She is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP).
