At the top of our list is, of course, the classic Quencher tumbler. Available in 14-, 20-, 30-, 40- and 64-ounce sizes, this trendy water bottle comes in almost every color imaginable. It’s also the go-to style for Stanley collabs and special collections. Our only gripe? The lid isn’t leakproof, so tossing it in a bag is a no-go. (Luckily Stanley fixed this design flaw by launching the Quencher ProTour late last year.)

“Since December 2022, I’ve relied on my Stanley Quencher tumbler for (almost) all of my hydration needs,” says product tester Madi Koetting. “Though it’s not my preferred companion while walking or hiking, it’s still the one I grab every single day while working from home, running errands in the car or on road trips. What’s more, I didn’t know a handle was an important water bottle feature until now. Little Miss Stanley is basically my best friend at this point.”

We were surprised just how functional the Stanley flask is for toting a little something special to parties, sporting events and camping trips. At under $20, the 8-ounce Adventure flask is also one of the more budget-friendly Stanley products.

“The Adventure pre-party flask is an excellent, lightweight flask for the intrepid explorer,” says product tester Emily Way. “While it doesn’t feel as sturdy as its pricier competitors, with proper care, it should last at least a few years. I’ve yet to see any cracks, dents or scratches—even after it has bounced around in my car for several days following a trip. Those seeking a solid, affordable flask in a variety of fun shades will find this is a great overall option.”

The best coolers can keep your bevvies cold for days on end. But when you’re simply toting some sips and snacks to the park for a picnic, a soft cooler like the Stanley Julienne bag is a more practical fit. With three sizes—mini 7.4-quart, midi 12-quart and max 20-quart—there’s an option for families big and small.

“Immediately upon opening, you can tell this cooler bag is well-insulated and high-quality. It’s also so pretty in person,” says product tester Mary Henn. “The printed pink inside lining is the cherry on top. I love that it holds its shape even when empty, so it’s a breeze to pack and see what’s inside. It also has a top handle and padded shoulder strap for easy carrying.”

When our Product Testing Team evaluated over a dozen pour-over coffee makers, the Stanley Perfect Brew stood out. The built-in filter, durable construction and large capacity make it the perfect option for brewing a cup in the great outdoors.

“If you’re a camper, hiker or otherwise, the Stanley pour-over is a great addition to your gear,” explains product tester Sheri Kaz. “It’s simple to use and makes a robust cup of coffee that will surely perk you up after a night spent outdoors. It also doesn’t require disposable filters and is impressively sturdy, which means it’s strong enough to keep up with you day or night.”

With the rise of viral Stanley cups (hello, Midnight Glitz!), so too comes an increase in Stanley accessories for further function and personalization. While some of the options we’ve tested are pretty ridiculous, others are surprisingly useful. This Quencher carry-all, available for both 30- and 40-ounce Stanley cups, is part belt bag and part water bottle holder for on-the-go toting.

“Since the Flowstate tumbler isn’t leak-free, it can be cumbersome to travel with,” explains product tester Nicole Doster. “But this bag clips on snug, keeping the bottle vertical and easy to access on walks or trips to the gym. The quality is very good and I appreciate the spacious pockets and clips to store my keys, phone and headphones.”

When our cheap French press broke, I was eager to find a heavy-duty option to replace it. And the Stanley Stay Hot fits the bill.

“While I love my Stanley Quencher, sometimes it is just too big. Those are the days that I reach for my Everyday tumbler,” says Emily. “While the lid isn’t quite as secure as the larger tumblers, the insulation is just as good. It also fits in all cupholders, full stop. And, as a bonus, it accommodates hot liquids!”

No one needs a special on-the-go tumbler just for wine. But if you’re going to buy one, the Everyday wine tumbler is a great choice. Its sleek shape fits perfectly in your hand, whether you’re on a picnic or sitting poolside.

“I have had this wine tumbler for two years, and I’ve used it countless times,” explains Mary. “When I first got it, I honestly did not expect to use it as much as I have. It elevates happy hour on the back deck, and my wine stays cold for hours, even in the heat. The lid is very easy to remove and clean, and all parts are dishwasher safe!”

Adventure Big Grip Beer Stein

There’s no denying the Stanley beer stein is novel, but it’s so much fun. The 24-ounce capacity holds a big serving of frosty brews, while the built-in handle is ideal for toasting.

“These are great for hanging out by the water,” says Nicole. “It’s our go-to for bringing soda or beer in the hot tub. The oversized handles have a great feel to them.” Unfortunately, they discontinued the orange color Nicole bought, but there are still several hues to choose from, including classic hammertone green.
