We love Target, but sometimes Amazon has more budget-friendly options that win us over.
7 Things You’re Buying at Target That Are Cheaper on Amazon

Target or Amazon?
Target is known for quality, affordable products, and we’ll never say no to a trip to the red and white aisles of one of our favorite shops, but there are some things we leave out of the cart on our Target runs. The following items can be found at another favorite for even less.
Note: Prices listed were accurate as of press time; pricing fluctuations may occur.

Reusable Stainless Steel Straws
While both Amazon and Target have quite a few options when it comes to reusable straws, when you compare prices, you just can’t beat Amazon. Target offers this 2 pc stainless steel straw set with a cleaning brush for $8, which is a great deal, but Amazon carries a 12 pack with various sizes and shapes of stainless steel straws, and two cleaning brushes for less than $7. Here are some more reusable items that will save you money.

Tide Pods
Target has good deals on laundry essentials, such as a 73 count pack of Tide Pods for only $21. Unfortunately, Amazon has them beat with an 81 count pack of the same brand for only $19.99. Laundry cleaner is just the beginning. Who knew you could get these odd but useful home products on Amazon?

Batteries
The Target battery price of $15.99 doesn’t seem like much like saving against Amazon’s $15.49, but keep in mind that Target’s pack only gives you 20 batteries, whereas Amazon’s similarly priced option is a 48 pack. Of course, just because something is cheaper doesn’t mean it has a better value. Stay away from these dollar store items that you should skip.

Bookshelves
One of our favorite designs for our bookshelves is these ladder shelves, but we’ll be putting them in our Amazon cart. The Target version at $110.00 caught our eyes first, but a little searching found a similar product on Amazon for almost $50 less!

Bath towels
We love what a nice matching towel set does to make your bathroom look a little fancy, but we also love saving money! This is why we’re passing on this six-piece set from Target at $44.99 and sticking with Amazon’s version, which is only going to cost us $24.99. No matter what you buy, here’s how to keep your towels fluffy.

Fujifilm Instax Mini 11 Instant Camera
Looking to get a trendy gift for your favorite kiddo? This mini instant camera is a must-have for a lot of people! It comes in a variety of colors and Target will sell it to you for $69.99. Amazon, on the other hand, will only take $68.39 from you! Saving is still saving, no matter the price difference.

Cell phone cases
We found HUGE savings on cell phone cases at Amazon. Across brands and phone types, Amazon sold their phone cases less expensively. To get the highly praised OtterBox at Target, you’ll have to spend $59.95, but the same case at Amazon, depending on the color, will only run you $34. But don’t think you have to give up your Target habit altogether! You may not be buying these things at Target, but you definitely should be.
