These delicious sliders are made from deli roast beef and a copycat Arby’s sauce. The recipe is a quick weeknight meal and an amazing replica of the wonderful beef and cheddar sandwich from Arby’s. Ingredients
- 1 package (12 ounces) Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 14 ounces thinly sliced deli roast beef
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 6 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1-1/2 teaspoons dried minced onion or poppy seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°. Without separating rolls, cut in half horizontally; arrange bottom halves in a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. In a bowl, combine roast beef and barbecue sauce. Top with cheese slices. Replace top halves of rolls.
- In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, dried minced onion and garlic powder. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved; drizzle over sandwiches.
- Cover and bake 25 minutes. Uncover; bake until golden brown, 5-10 minutes longer.
