Ingredients
- 2 cups biscuit/baking mix
- 2 tablespoons instant chocolate drink mix
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
- Optional: Maple syrup and butter
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine biscuit mix, drink mix and baking powder. Whisk egg, milk and sour cream; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto a greased hot griddle. Turn when bubbles form on top; cook until second side is golden brown. If desired, serve with maple syrup and butter.
