Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Chips Tips

What other fruits can you put in fruit salsa?

If you ask me, a finely chopped Golden Delicious apple would make a great addition to this fruit salsa, but you can get creative. Peaches would be a flavorful addition as well. Pull inspiration from our other fruit salsa recipes.

Can you make fruit salsa ahead of time?

The sooner you serve your fruit salsa, the better. The longer you let the prepared dip sit in the fridge, the more the juices will weep from the fruit, resulting in a mushy salsa. If you have to make the salsa in advance of your gathering, we recommend you only work a few hours ahead.

What else can you serve with fruit salsa?

If you don't have store-bought flour tortillas (or homemade tortillas) on hand for the cinnamon chips, you could use cinnamon graham crackers as a quick replacement. Or, if you have the time, you can make baked strips of cinnamon sugar pie crust as your "chips." These sweet salsa scoopers are easily prepped with store-bought pie crust cut into your preferred shapes, brushed with melted butter and sprinkled with a cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake until golden brown and serve with the fruit salsa—just make sure they're not too hot to handle first!
