Baked Shrimp

This baked shrimp recipe with a delicious, garlicky lemon sauce is a well-seasoned, light and refreshing meal. It also makes the perfect party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound uncooked shrimp (26-30 per pound), peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges, optional

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°. Arrange shrimp in an ungreased 13x9x2-in. baking dish. In a small bowl, whisk butter, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper and oregano. Drizzle over shrimp; toss to coat.
  2. Bake until shrimp turn pink, 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley. If desired, serve with lemon wedges.
