Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 3/4 cup unsalted chicken stock
- 1/4 cup 2% milk
Directions
- Heat butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add cornstarch; whisk constantly until lightly bubbly and the mixture is smooth, 1-2 minutes. Whisk in salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Whisk in stock and milk; bring to a simmer over medium heat until thickened, 1-2 minutes, whisking constantly. Remove from heat.
