Gluten-Free Cream of Chicken Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3/4 cup unsalted chicken stock
  • 1/4 cup 2% milk

Directions

  1. Heat butter in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add cornstarch; whisk constantly until lightly bubbly and the mixture is smooth, 1-2 minutes. Whisk in salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Whisk in stock and milk; bring to a simmer over medium heat until thickened, 1-2 minutes, whisking constantly. Remove from heat.
