This fresh habanero salsa recipe beats out store-bought salsas and takes less than 10 minutes to make. Yes, the habanero is a hot pepper—but the pepper has floral and citrus notes too.
Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup minced white onion
- 1 habanero pepper, seeded and minced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro
- 1/2 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. If desired, cover bowl, and refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving.
