With just a few fridge, freezer and pantry staples, you can quickly prepare this pasta with prosciutto. We follow a handy hack of tossing the peas in the same boiling water as the linguine to avoid using an extra pot. To create the sauce, we saute garlic with prosciutto, pepper and Italian seasoning. After combining all the ingredients into one dish, we finish by grating fresh Parmesan over the top for irresistibly cheesy bites.

Ingredients for Pasta with Prosciutto

  • Linguine: We prefer the linguine shape for this pasta, since it’s flat and holds up well to the chunky sauce.
  • Peas: We boil the peas in the same water as the linguine to soften them before adding them to the sauce.
  • Prosciutto and sauce: To create the sauce, we saute prosciutto (or deli ham) in olive oil with garlic, Italian seasoning and pepper.
  • Parmesan: We finish this pasta by grating on fresh Parmesan to give it cheesy and nutty bites.

Directions
