Move over barbecue sauce! Make restaurant-quality Thai peanut satay sauce with a pantry staple hack—creamy peanut butter. This sauce is wonderful with grilled meat or atop noodles.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup canned coconut milk
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 small jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh gingerroot

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk all ingredients until blended. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
