I didn't have salmon on hand, so I used tuna, flaked, 6 T. butter, 3 cups 2% milk, 1 cup half and half, 1-1\/2 cups sliced celery, 1 onion, sliced, 1 cup reduced sodium chicken broth, 3 cups peeled sliced potatoes, 1 t. each thyme leaves, salt, 1\/2 tsp. pepper, 1 T. Worcestershire sauce, 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Butter was left as is when melting and sauteing the onion\/celery. I did process in blender the mixture of potatoes and milk! This soup was delicious!
