I made this for dinner last night, it was not a great idea. My family was excited when I said I was preparing meat stew. But when they tasted it, it was a big NO for the cider flavor. It was already late to prepare anything else, so we ended up going to dinner. Also it needs way more than the 35min for the potatoes and carrots to cook, maybe in a pressure cooker that will work. They were still crunchy after 45min.
