Our peanut butter pancakes recipe brings a hint of peanut butter flavor to each serving, along with a scrumptious homemade honey butter as a topping. These pancakes are obviously ideal for those who love peanut butter, but they’re also a solid breakfast option for anyone wanting to enjoy a different, heartier type of pancake. You can also keep them in mind for when you’re craving pancakes but you’ve run out of maple syrup. Enjoy your breakfast!<\/p>\n
In a large bowl, combine the pancake mix and sugar.<\/p>\n In a small bowl, beat together the egg and peanut butter, then add the milk and water. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until the dry ingredients are just moistened.<\/p>\n Pour the batter by 1\/4 cupfuls onto a lightly greased medium-hot griddle. Flip the pancakes when bubbles form on the top, then cook them until the second side is golden brown.<\/p>\n In a small bowl, combine the softened butter and honey until the mixture is smooth. Serve the honey butter with the pancakes.
