The peppermint bark was so easy and made more than was needed for the trifle. It did not go to waste. My granddaughter found it in the freezer where I had stashed it while waiting to make the trifle. Once the trifle was done, she claimed that as her own. The trifle itself went together easily and was gone in no time. My only modification was that I made the angel food cake from scratch. I rarely buy cakes anymore.
