I salted the sirloin tip roast and left it overnight then did everything as the recipe suggested. I didn't brown the beef first though. When I pulled the beef out after 10 hours it fell apart. So easy to spread. I felt there was a bit of fat from beef in the juice so ran it through my soup strainer then added a heaping tablespoon of flour with some ghee into the crock pot and slowly whisked the juice back in to thicken. Then put it on high to thicken for 10 mins or so then added the beef back to the pot. The juice was so good I didn't want to loose it all when it was served.
