This is a good basic cookie recipe<\/p>
<\/p>
HACK. I'm always looking for a hack in either the kitchen or the garden. This one skips a flour mess and I think makes the process easier\/<\/p>
<\/p>
Place two pieces of plastic wrap on the counter next to your mixing bowl.<\/p>
<\/p>
Evenly devide the dough on both sheets. <\/p>
<\/p>
Wrap very loosley around dough and shape into logs.<\/p>
<\/p>
Gradually shape dough while forming logs inside the plastic. Then tuck ends of plastic under ends and pop in the fridge on a metal pan for 2-3 hours. This will make the dough nice and cold, easy to handle and unwrap.<\/p>
<\/p>
Slice and bake.<\/p>
<\/p>
For the recipe. I always increase ingrediants that provide flavor. Here I about trippled the amount of lime zest. The cookies came out nice and tangy\/sweet.<\/p>
