A great alternative to frying chicken, but still with great taste. This is an easy recipe to follow and it didn't matter that I only had Italian seasoned bread crumbs in the cupboard. Very good spice, easy to put together & no time extended marinade. This is the easiest way to make fried chicken & you don\u2019t end up with burnt crust & raw inside. Per other fried chicken recipes on this site, I used my Dutch oven to fry 2 legs at a time. I could have done 3, but didn\u2019t want to crowd the pot. Dutch oven worked perfectly, has high sides for splatter, holds the heat & clean up is fast. I bought a family pack of 10 chicken legs from Aldi-they are huge! I added a smidge more of everything & had just enough make them all with no waste. If you have breadcrumb\/egg stuck on your hands\/fork crumble it pea-sized back into the breadcrumb mix, this gives little crumbles of extra crispness to the crust on the next dredge.
