I have this for five different parties and it is a big hit. I do add a tablespoon of ranch dip for a little extra zip. I also found that the black gel for the eyebrows and mouth tended to run so I just tinted some of the cream cheese black and used that. As others have said, this was a big hit! I agree that flavoring the cream cheese would be more tasty. I decided to place the head looking up at the ceiling because he was being transported to the party. I was concerned Cheesenstein would do a face plant in the car! I made this for a party this year and made a few adjustments:<\/p>
-I used chopped walnuts instead of bacon.<\/p>
-Pepperchinis for both eyes and nose.<\/p>
-Cream cheese for the hair using black food coloring.<\/p>
-I used black coloring gel found at Michael's Crafts for the eyes, brows and mouth. It has no taste to it and you can just paint it on with a paint brush.<\/p>
-Plastic bolts were used from a children's toy tool set that I purchased from a toy store.<\/p>
-Served with Ritz crackers.<\/p>

Turned out pretty well and made a great impression. I made it two-faced w\/ a vegetarian version on one side (used pecans instead of bacon - I actually liked it better than the original). I also cut half-moons from a thick slice of white American cheese for the eyes instead of the parsnip and just used another pepperoncini for the nose. Next time I would:<\/p>
- season the whipped cream cheese<\/p>
- use black-colored whipped cream cheese instead of chopped olives for hair (olives were pretty overpowering)<\/p>
