While I have never seen this dish offered in an actual diner, it wouldn't be a bad idea for them to adopt it. Husband gave it 2 thumbs up! I brushed mustard lightly over the crust before filling it per the suggestion of a reviewer below. Lovely aroma while baking! Easily feeds a small-medium sized family for dinner with sides, and is just as good reheated as leftovers (which is unusual!). If you're looking for a new fun way to use hamburger, this is it! <\/p>","reviewRating":{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Rating","ratingValue":4,"worstRating":1,"bestRating":5}},{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Review","datePublished":"2023-09-11","author":{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Person","name":"KristineChayes576"},"reviewBody":"

I used a 9\" pie plate and it was perfect. I used about 8 ounces of half and half that I had on hand and the rest skim milk, didn't seem to alter the result. I put a tray on the shelf below the pie plate in the oven and I think that caused the cheese to brown too much. There wasn't any spillage anyway, but next time i think I will put the pie plate on the tray just in case and see if that make a diffference or I could add some of the cheese into the quiche and top with the rest to incorporate it more.<\/p>","CommentId":10,"DateRated":"03\/15\/2016 14:57","GUID":"71fa6ae847dd44a489325e2ef844e272","MemberId":2966570,"Rating":4,"ScreenName":"HBcook","SubmittedDate":"03\/15\/2016 14:57"},{"Comment":" our family loves it!
