At the rest of incurring wrath, I'll state right up front that I haven't yet made this, but am planning to. I'm allergic to pineapple so I was very pleased to find this ham recipe that uses something else! It looks amazing and sounds delicious. Edit: Tried it. It's amazing. In fact, I haven't made a ham any other way since! If you prefer to cook your ham in the crockpot, this recipe is versatile enough to do so. I combined the glaze ingredients and poured them over the ham in the crockpot. Cooked on low for six hours. This is ham. Ham is salty. For a ham like this, my mother always par boiled first. That is what I do. Also, I am diabetic, have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. If salt is a concern for you and ham is usually not on your Easter table because of that, you should buy a lower sodium ham... or soak the one you have in water over night. That will take out some of the salt.
