I only made 2 small adjustments (only due to items onhand). I used jalapeño cheddar pork sausages as I couldn’t Find spinach and feta chicken sausage. I used a chicken bullion cube in place of the broth as I didn’t have any onhand (and wasn’t buying for just 1 cup). Otherwise made as written. And it was very good we enjoyed it.

Having said that. I think next time I will make a few adjustments; a little extra garlic, some sun dried tomatoes and Bella mushrooms and some fresh spinach wilted near the end. And we may try with a roasted pepper chicken sausage mixed with the jalapeño cheddar sausage.

Definitely will make it into a monthly rotation. The sausage was very dry and rubbery. The couscous was very good. I think if i had browned the sausage and then removed it and kept warm while the couscous was cooking then added it back in at the end it would have been much better. I believe that extra 10 min cooking time for sausage that was already fully cooked was too much. That being said the recipe has a really good flavor and is a quick meal
@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"Rating
{"@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"Review
2024-12-10
@context":"http://schema.org/","@type":"Person
twinz4us2878

This was delicious! I cooked the sausage then removed it from the pan. I sautéed a few fresh mushrooms with the onions and garlic, while omitting the celery.
