This was excellent! Used Naan bread and left over marinated sirloin kabobs. What an excellent meal. The spreadable cheese was something I would have never thought to use. Excellent idea for pizza! This is going to be a long review, but I loved how it turned out tonight so much that I wanted to share my personal ideas. <\/p>
I've made it twice - the first time was exactly as written and I found that there are WAY too many ingredients, making it ultra-thick. Also, I wasn't impressed with how the meat turned out (a little tough) & hardly any flavor. <\/p>
So the SECOND TIME I made adjustments & love it this way best!!! I used filet mignon (because I had some in the freezer that need to be cooked -only 3\/4 lb & not 1 lb), however if I make it with sirloin I'll do the same thing, which is: trim & thin slice the meat FIRST; season it to your liking ( I used Cajun seasoning because salt & pepper just don't do enough for my taste buds); sear & brown in a pan until cooked. <\/p>
Also, I cooked 4 oz of sliced baby bella mushrooms (my favorite - great flavor) in 2 Tbsp of butter, just enough to soften. <\/p>
Other notes: I find it's a MUST when using a prebaked pizza crust, to par-bake it. I put olive oil on the top & cook it 9-10 minutes. Remove & cool. This helps it be crispy & not chewy. After the spreadable garlic-herb cheese I then put 1 cup shredded cheese (I used Pizza Blend, but feel Italian Blend or Mozzarella would also be great); then Meat; red onions; spinach; mushrooms; top with 1 cup cheese.
