If you’ve ever had trouble choosing between a cold, sugary pick-me-up and a hot coffee in the morning, then worry no more. Coca-Cola is ready to launch Coca-Cola with Coffee, aka coffee-flavored Coke.
Is This Like Coca-Cola Blak?
Not exactly. You might remember Coca-Cola Blak’s debut in 2006. The flavor was unique, caffeine-packed and, unfortunately, not very popular. Only two years after hitting shelves, Coca-Cola Blak was pulled, and we haven’t seen it since.
Because Coca-Cola Blak didn’t perform well with soda fans, Coke went back to the drawing board. Coca-Cola with Coffee contains more real coffee and a significant jump in caffeine content compared to your average can of soda. It should be the perfect boost, even if you’re not crazy for coffee.
If you think coffee in Coke is wacky, try milk Coke instead.
What Are the New Flavors?
@CandyHunting first reported on Instagram back in January that Coca-Cola with Coffee will come in three new flavors: Dark Blend, Vanilla and Caramel.
Initially, Coke with Coffee was destined to debut in April, but Coke has postponed the launch date by just a smidgen. No matter what time of year, we can’t wait to try this smooth, sweet sipper.
Where Can I Find Coca-Cola with Coffee?
While we had our hearts set on last April, it looks like Coke with Coffee is finally headed our way in January of 2021. We can’t wait to crack open a cold one on New Years Day.
If this coffee plus cola combination sounds a little familiar, it’s because PepsiCo is launching a similar beverage which was also set to debut in April of 2020: Pepsi Cafe. For the time being, it looks like Pepsi has pushed off the release date for this one, but we have a feeling with the Coke with Coffee announcement, Pepsi won’t be far behind. This soda-plus-coffee will come in two flavors, Regular and Vanilla.
In the meantime, you can always hunt for this unusual Coke flavor.
