Fresh flowers are the quintessential way to say “I love you” or “I’m thinking about you.” Sending a beautiful arrangement shows that you care—in good times and in bad.

Unfortunately, finding the right flower delivery service can be tricky. Between inflated delivery fees, shipping exclusions and over-promised listing photos, ordering an arrangement online often feels like a gamble.

That’s why we evaluate flower delivery services so you can shop with confidence. And in our latest batch of testing, we were blown away by a brand you likely already know and love: Sam’s Club. Here’s everything you need to know about this bountiful yet budget-friendly florist option.

Sam’s Club sells an array of fresh flowers, including bouquets, bulk greens and even wedding/party supplies. Whether you’re looking for bulk roses or pre-arranged centerpieces, the wholesale store offers a modest selection. Most products fall under their house brand, Member’s Mark.

On Sam’s Club’s website, you can shop with or without a membership. (For the latter, just create a guest membership at checkout and be prepared to pay a 10% surcharge.) In-store, however, you’ll need to be an active member to shop.

How We Tested

I tried three Member’s Mark flower bouquets from Sam’s Club in May 2025: the XL premium vase arrangement, the dreamy lavender farm-fresh rose bouquet and the pure elegance white farm-fresh rose bouquet.

Delivery and Unboxing

All three arrangements were dropped off by FedEx in boxes. (This is very standard for online flower delivery services. If you’re looking for hand-off delivery, we suggest reaching out to a local florist.)

Each bouquet was well-packed in a protective wrapping and zip-tied into the box. The XL arrangement was tucked inside a large vase, while the farm-fresh rose bouquets were tied in burlap. Both options looked very nice and ready to gift.

Surprisingly, only two of the three bouquets came with a wet protective padding to keep the stems moist and fresh. I would have expected all arrangements to come with the same packaging, but the XL flowers were completely dry. Luckily, they still looked fresh!

Arranging

Next, I started assembling each bouquet. The XL arrangement was absolutely massive, with a mix of roses, lilies, spray roses, carnations, snapdragons, mums, thistles and more. All blooms were in a romantic pink and purple color palette.

The variety and stature were beyond impressive. I counted roughly 40 stems, and many had multiple flowers attached. In person, this bouquet looked even better than the online photo!

I trimmed each stem and stripped away any lingering leaves that would fall beneath the water line. Then I filled my vase with water, added the included flower food and plopped ’em inside. This arrangement was the easiest to put together because it already came with an appropriately sized vase, and the stems were all roughly the same length.

Then, I moved on to the dreamy lavender and pure elegance bouquets. These had a mix of roses, stock, hypericum, eucalyptus and greenery—which smelled divine. I loved the burlap wrapping—it was a nice touch that made the bouquets feel like something I’d pick up at the farmers market.

I grabbed two vases from my collection, then trimmed the stems and stripped the leaves. When I started arranging, I was surprised to find that the stems were all different lengths. And while this made the bouquet look perfect in the box, it took some finagling to achieve a similar effect in the vase. The roses, especially, were noticeably mismatched.

I didn’t mind this step, since I enjoy flower arranging. But if you’re looking for a bouquet that’s easy to just plop into a vase, this isn’t it.

Freshness and Longevity

All three arrangements perked up after being placed in water. I noticed that some of the blooms were already entirely open. While this makes for a beautiful unboxing, it typically means that the flowers won’t last as long.

After three days, the lilies on the XL bouquet started to open, and all the roses were in full bloom. Water levels were down, too, meaning the thirsty stems were able to suck up what they need. I changed the water and let them be.

By day five, the farm-fresh bouquets started to look a little tired. Some of the roses were drooping and starting to lose petals. I changed the water once again.

On day seven, I called it quits on the farm-fresh arrangements. They were entirely spent and starting to smell. I also purged a few of the mums and spray roses from the XL arrangement after a water change. This one still looked pretty good, but the stems were starting to get a little mealy.

On day nine, I nixed most of the XL arrangement. I saved a few lilies and other stems that were still in good shape and transferred them to a mason jar.

Value

As of press time, all three bouquets cost a little over $50 for members. (The XL premium arrangement goes for $54.77 while the farm-fresh bouquets are $51.27 each.) Even more impressive? There are no hidden delivery fees! Sam’s Plus members can even score free shipping on orders over $50.

The biggest bang for your buck is definitely the XL premium vase arrangement, since it comes with a vase and over 40 stems.

Pros

  • Large, lush bouquets with tons of blooms
  • Budget-friendly—half the price of other flower delivery services
  • Lasts a week or more with proper care
  • Bulk options available for weddings and parties
  • Free shipping over $50 for Sam’s Plus members
  • No hidden fees

Cons

  • Inconsistent packaging
  • Tricky to arrange

Final Verdict

Next time you need to send flowers, don’t forget about Sam’s Club! I was very impressed by the quality and value of the bouquets. While there are some packaging quirks and the stems don’t last quite as long as some premium services, you can’t beat the price.
