Chicken Salad Sandwich

The key to a great chicken salad sandwich is simplicity. All you need is juicy chicken, mayo, crunchy celery and a pop of fresh dill.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breasts, shredded or chopped
  • 2/3 cup sliced celery
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon snipped fresh dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 slices white bread
  • Lettuce leaves, optional

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine chicken, celery, mayo, mustard, dill, salt and pepper. Serve on slices of white bread with lettuce leaves, if desired.
