This copycat Wendy's frosty recipe gets the texture and flavor just right. The hardest part will be waiting for it to be done frosting in the freezer.
Ingredients
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 quarts 2% chocolate milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup baking cocoa
- 1 container (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Directions
- In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, chocolate milk and vanilla. Sift in cocoa powder; stir to combine. Fold in whipped topping until well combined.
- Fill cylinder of ice cream maker no more than two-thirds full; freeze according to manufacturer’s directions. Serve immediately in glasses.
- If making without an ice cream maker, pour mixture into a freezer-safe container; freeze up to 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes or until it reaches desired consistency.
