Calling all chicken drumstick lovers! These deep-fried chicken legs will hit the spot whenever you're seeking crispy-on-the-outside, juicy-on-the-inside fried chicken.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- Oil for deep-fat frying
Directions
- In a shallow bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. In another shallow bowl, whisk eggs and milk. Place chicken in flour mixture, a few pieces at a time. Turn to coat, shaking off excess. Dip chicken in egg mixture. Coat again in flour mixture.
- In an electric skillet or deep fryer, heat oil to 375°. Fry chicken, several pieces at a time, until chicken is golden brown and juices run clear, 7-8 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels.
