My husband and I had never tried panettone before. When I picked up a loaf I cut really thick slices, dipped each into an egg mixture and placed them on the griddle. And wow—did we ever have the most delicious breakfast of panettone French toast, topped with real butter and maple syrup! —Cathy Orban, Chandler, Arizona
