{"id":1006620,"date":"2019-05-02T16:05:19","date_gmt":"2019-05-02T21:05:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/origin-www.tasteofhome.com\/?p=1006620"},"modified":"2024-02-14T13:49:05","modified_gmt":"2024-02-14T19:49:05","slug":"starbucks-launches-game-of-thrones","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tasteofhome.com\/article\/starbucks-launches-game-of-thrones\/","title":{"rendered":"Starbucks Launches a &#8216;Dragon Drink&#8217; Just in Time for Game of Thrones"},"content":{"rendered":"While Starbucks doesn't outright say its new lineup was launched with <em>Game of Thrones<\/em> in mind, like Oreo's new cookies, their newest drink\u00a0<em>is<\/em>\u00a0called the \"Dragon Drink,\" and if that isn't meant to spark some <em>GoT<\/em> vibes, I don't know what is.\r\n\r\nThe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tasteofhome.com\/article\/copycat-dragon-drink-refresher-recipe\/\">Dragon Drink<\/a> is a mixture of their Mango Dragronfruit Refresher and coconut milk, with a dried dragonfruit topping.\r\n\r\nAlong with the Dragon Drink, Starbucks is also launching a new permanent menu item in its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.starbucks.com\/menu\/food\/sandwiches-panini-and-wraps\/crispy-grilled-cheese-sandwich?foodZone=9999\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">crispy grilled cheese sandwich<\/a> with a three cheese blend sitting between toasted sourdough bread.\r\n\r\nThey're also making sure to not forget about their plant-based customers, introducing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.starbucks.com\/menu\/food\/sandwiches-panini-and-wraps\/baja-black-bean-veggie-wrap?foodZone=9999\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Baja Black Bean Veggie Wrap<\/a> made with a salsa slaw and over a half cup of veggies.\r\n\r\nRounding out their summer menu is the return of some popular Frappuccino flavors. Coming back for a limited time is their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.starbucks.com\/menu\/drinks\/frappuccino-blended-beverages\/s-mores-frappuccino\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">S'mores Frap<\/a>. Their Mocha Cookie Crumble Frap and Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frap have also returned and will be sticking around permanently.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-1006623\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tasteofhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/smores-frappuccino.jpg?fit=700,784\" alt=\"Mocha Cookie Crumble Frap\" width=\"700\" height=\"472\" \/>\r\n\r\nWhoops, just kidding. They do have one more item, as the Frosted Doughnut Cake Pop sneaked into this lineup, as well.\r\n\r\nYou don't have to worry about the Dragon Drink disappearing, as Starbucks said it is going to be on the permanent menu. Even if they tried to make it \"limited,\" the two main ingredients are always available, meaning you could ask for it anyway.\r\n\r\nThe S'mores Frap and Black Bean wrap are only limited time
