The resulting airtight seal prevents leaking, freezer burn and spoilage. However, unlike the bag sealer, these bag clips don't use heat to adhere each side of the opening together. Instead, they slide across the top of any bag to create a faux \"Ziploc\" seal on the top. This makes it easy to re-open the bag by simply sliding them back off.\r\n\r\nEven better, zero sharp edges, easy-to-swallow springs or pinching means they're safe for kids to use.
