Hold off on your deep-cleaning projects for now. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has shared a recall from Bissell<\/a> that affects its popular Steam Shot Handheld Steam Cleaners. This recall will come as a shock to Steam Shot fans who use the steam cleaner for everything from cleaning grout<\/a> to detailing car interiors.<\/p>\r\n

\r\n\r\nThe steam cleaners are too dangerous to keep using. Bissell says the recalled steam cleaners can expel hot water or steam onto people during use, posing a burn hazard. The company has already received 183 reports of hot water or steam escaping from the Steam Shot, including 157 reports of minor burn injuries.
