The recall was initiated after 4Earth Farms learned that carrots used in its vegetable medleys may have been contaminated with E. coli<\/a>.<\/em>\r\n

What caused the E. coli outbreak?<\/h2>\r\nThe outbreak is linked to organic carrots from Grimmway Farms of Bakersfield, California.\u00a0No illnesses have been reported to 4Earth Farms to date; however, the CDC reports 39 illnesses and one death associated with the broader E. coli outbreak<\/a>.\r\n

What vegetables are affected by the recall?<\/h2>\r\n\"Vegetables\r\n\r\nThe recalled products all have best by dates of September 7, 2024, through November 2, 2024. That means any items impacted by this recall have been expired for at least three weeks. However, they may still be in consumers\u2019 refrigerators or freezers.\r\n\r\nThe 4Earth Farms vegetable medleys that are part of this recall were sold throughout New Hampshire, Florida, California, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Illinois and Colorado at the following retailers:\r\n
