Be careful what brand of potato chips<\/a> you put out for guests because Lay's has recalled some of its Classic Potato Chips. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported the recall<\/a> on December 18 and said the chips may contain undeclared milk.\r\n\r\nFor most of us, this won't be an issue. However, people with an allergy or sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat the chips. Fortunately, a consumer noticed the error and contacted Frito-Lay.\r\n

What chips are affected by the recall?<\/h2>\r\n\"Bag\r\n\r\nThis Lay's potato chip recall affects Classic Potato Chips. The product was distributed to retailers and e-commerce distributors in Oregon and Washington. Frito-Lay didn't specify which <\/em>retailers<\/a>, so it will be slightly more difficult to determine whether you have an affected bag.\r\n\r\nThe recalled chips are 13-ounce bags of Lay\u2019s Classic Potato Chips. The recalled bags will have a Guaranteed Fresh Date of 11 FEB 2025<\/strong> on the front of the bag and one of the manufacturing codes listed below:\r\n
