And while we love an eye-catching chocolate, we don't love finding rocks in our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tasteofhome.com\/collection\/copycat-candy-bar-recipes\/\">candy bars<\/a>! The company, which is based in the Netherlands and was founded to <a href=\"https:\/\/nl.tonyschocolonely.com\/en\/pages\/our-promise\">fight exploitation<\/a> in the chocolate industry, <a href=\"https:\/\/nl.tonyschocolonely.com\/en\/pages\/recall-fo-intl-0325\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">just recalled<\/a> two of its popular chocolate bars after people reported finding small stones in them.\r\n<h2>What caused the recall?<\/h2>\r\nTony's Chocolonely received 12 reports from people who found foreign objects in their chocolate bars. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/tonys-chocolonely-recalls-two-chocolate-products-because-they-may-contain-small-stones-302417610.html\">U.S. press release<\/a>, all of the reports were made outside the U.S. and Canada.\r\n\r\nThe chocolate bars in questions contain almonds, and the small stones likely made their way into the bars because of a problem with filtering during the almond harvesting and processing. Thankfully, there have been no chipped teeth so far: No one has reported injuries.\r\n<h2>Where is Tony's Chocolonely sold?<\/h2>\r\nTony's chocolate bars are sold at stores across the country including Whole Foods, Target and Walmart, as well as online. The recalled bars were distributed nationwide beginning February 7 through March 24.\r\n<h2>What chocolate is included in the recall?<\/h2>\r\nSeven lots of two flavors of chocolate are part of this recall: Dark Almond Sea Salt and the Everything Bar. Check the lot codes, UPC numbers and best-by dates to make sure you don't end up eating any of the recalled chocolate.
