Igloo has expanded its original recall to include more than 1.2 million coolers<\/a> after more reports of serious fingertip injuries.\r\n

What caused the recall?<\/h2>\r\nIgloo 90 Qt. Flip & Tow Rolling Coolers have a handle that you use for towing. Since the original recall was announced in February<\/a>, Igloo has received 78 injury reports, including 26 that resulted in fingertip amputations, bone fractures or lacerations.\r\n

What stores sold the Igloo coolers?<\/h2>\r\nIn the U.S., these specific Igloo coolers were sold at Costco, Target, Academy, Dick\u2019s Sporting Goods and other retailers. People also bought the coolers on Amazon and the official Igloo website. The coolers were available for purchase between January 2019 and January 2025, so you may have unwrapped one as a Christmas gift this past holiday season.\r\n

How do I know if I have a recalled cooler?<\/h2>\r\n\"Cooler\r\n\r\nThis recall is only for Igloo 90 Qt. Flip & Tow Rolling Coolers manufactured before January 2024. The date is printed on the bottom of the cooler. Flip your cooler upside down and look for a circle of numbers, with an arrow pointing to the month the cooler was manufactured.
