I know I'm not the only one! If you plan to bring drinks to share this weekend or next, take a look at your cooler before you go. Igloo has expanded its original recall to include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpsc.gov\/Recalls\/2025\/Igloo-Expands-Recall-of-90-Qt-Rolling-Coolers-Due-to-Fingertip-Amputation-and-Crushing-Hazards-Total-Recalled-Now-Nearly-1-2-Million\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" data-name=\"www.cpsc.gov\/Recalls\/2025\/Igloo-Recalls-More-Than-One-Million-90-Quart-Rolling-Coolers-Due-to-Fingertip-Amputation-and-Crushing-Hazards\" data-module=\"content engagement\" data-position=\"embedded links\">more than 1.2 million coolers<\/a> after more reports of serious fingertip injuries.\r\n<h2>What caused the recall?<\/h2>\r\nIgloo 90 Qt. Flip &amp; Tow Rolling Coolers have a handle that you use for towing. Since the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tasteofhome.com\/article\/cooler-recall-february-2025\/\">original recall was announced in February<\/a>, Igloo has received 78 injury reports, including 26 that resulted in fingertip amputations, bone fractures or lacerations.\r\n<h2>What stores sold the Igloo coolers?<\/h2>\r\nIn the U.S., these specific Igloo coolers were sold at Costco, Target, Academy, Dick\u2019s Sporting Goods and other retailers. People also bought the coolers on Amazon and the official Igloo website. The coolers were available for purchase between January 2019 and January 2025, so you may have unwrapped one as a Christmas gift this past holiday season.\r\n<h2>How do I know if I have a recalled cooler?<\/h2>\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2142606\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tasteofhome.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Cooler-Recall-Expanded_TOH_Courtesy-USCPSC_DKedit.jpg?fit=700,1024\" alt=\"Cooler Recall\" width=\"700\" height=\"1024\" \/>\r\n\r\nThis recall is only for Igloo 90 Qt. Flip &amp; Tow Rolling Coolers manufactured before January 2024. The date is printed on the bottom of the cooler. Flip your cooler upside down and look for a circle of numbers, with an arrow pointing to the month the cooler was manufactured. The inside number is the year the cooler was manufactured.\r\n\r\nHere's the full list of recalled coolers:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><strong>Latitude 90-Quart Roller<\/strong> with date codes 07\/2020-09\/2021\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>SKU: 34692<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>Latitude 90-Quart Roller<\/strong> with date codes 10\/2021-12\/2022\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>SKU: 34785<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n \t<li><strong>MaxCold Latitude 90-Quart Roller<\/strong> with date codes 10\/2021-02\/2023\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>SKU: 34790<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nIn February, Igloo recalled about 1,060,000 coolers in the U.S., plus 47,000 in Canada and 23,000 in Mexico. Last week, it added about 130,000 more coolers in the U.S., plus 20,000 more in Canada and 5,900 in Mexico. That brings the total to about 1.2 million coolers.\r\n<h2>What should I do next?<\/h2>\r\nDon't use the cooler, and reach out to Igloo for a replacement handle.
