This <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tasteofhome.com\/article\/salmonella-outbreak-cucumbers-may-2025\/\">multistate outbreak<\/a>, which is linked to cucumbers grown by Bedner Growers in Florida, has caused at least 26 illnesses in 15 states so far. It also sparked a major investigation by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).\r\n\r\nFollowing this week's announcement about the outbreak, there were four recalls from brands that used or repackaged the contaminated cucumbers. If you shop at Harris Teeter, Food Lion or Kroger, this list is a must-read.\r\n<h2>What recalls have been announced?<\/h2>\r\nSo far, recalls have been linked to fresh cucumbers, vegetable trays, sushi and cucumber salads. The affected cucumbers were sold through May 19. If you bought any of the products listed below, don't eat them!\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.harristeeter.com\/i\/product-recall-fresh-start-produce-sales\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Harris Teeter<\/strong> announced a recall<\/a> of its fresh cucumbers and vegetable trays.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kroger.com\/i\/recall-alerts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Kroger<\/strong> recalled<\/a> some of its fresh cucumbers, vegetable trays, salad trays and hummus vegetable platters. The company that makes Yummi Sushi for Kroger also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/media\/186611\/download?attachment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recalled its products made with cucumber<\/a>.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/safety\/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts\/pennrose-farms-issues-recall-whole-cucumbers-because-possible-health-risk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PennRose Farms recalled<\/a> 5-pound mesh bags of whole cucumbers. This repacker sells its products to <strong>Restaurant Depot<\/strong> stores.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/safety\/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts\/ukrops-homestyle-foods-announces-recall-due-possible-health-risk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ukrop\u2019s Homestyle Foods is recalling<\/a> its marinated cucumber salads. The salads were sold at <strong>Food Lion<\/strong>, <strong>Harris Teeter<\/strong> and <strong>Kroger<\/strong>, as well as two independent stores in Richmond, Virgina: Libbie Market and Ukrop\u2019s Market Hall.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/safety\/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts\/albertsons-companies-voluntarily-recalls-three-store-made-deli-items-containing-recalled-cucumber\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Albertsons<\/strong> recalled<\/a> three store-made deli Greek salads that contained cucumbers. The salads were sold under house brands Ready Meals and Star Market.<\/li>\r\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/safety\/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts\/walmart-inc-recalls-marketside-fresh-cut-cucumber-slices-select-texas-stores-because-possible-health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Walmart<\/strong> recalled<\/a> sliced Marketside Fresh Cut Cucumber Slices from its Texas stores.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2>How do I know if I have recalled cucumbers?<\/h2>\r\nYou can check the recall announcements on your store's website to confirm whether your product is part of the recall. Right now, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/food\/outbreaks-foodborne-illness\/outbreak-investigation-salmonella-cucumbers-may-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FDA recommends<\/a> that shoppers play it safe and toss any cucumbers they have at home.\r\n\r\nIf you see cucumbers in the produce department at your grocery store, they should be safe\u2014any potentially contaminated
