OK, so\u2026 my wife and I make Sunday dinner for 12 people ranging in age from my 94-y.o. mom to 4-y.o. grandkids. Today: we got out 5 lbs of thawed round steak, did a bit of trimming, threw together THIS \u201cRECIPE\u201d, then all into the slow cooker. Took all of 10 minutes to prepare. 8 hours later: \u201cOMG, that\u2019s the best thing y\u2019all ever made\u201d, \u201cwow, good job, grandpa\u201d, \u201cis there any of that left that you can send home with me?\u201d. We served it with jazzed-up canned green beans, Bob Evans mashed potatoes, and corn muffins out of a tube. Seriously, one of the most highly praised meal ever. I've made a similar recipe, but used Chuck Roast. Wrap tightly in foil, put in oven at 300 degrees for at least 3 hours. Very tender!
