Plus, an air fryer cuts down on the use of oil, making this a lighter, guilt-free snack to make when the cravings hit<\/a>.<\/p>\n Preheat the air fryer to 375\u00b0F. In a large bowl, combine the minced garlic, garlic salt and onion powder. Add the sliced plantains to the bowl and cover with cold water. Let them soak for 30 minutes to absorb the seasoning and soften slightly.
