Maybe next time will add bit of the cherry juice to the dough for nice pink color. We cut the cherries in half and those made nice bite sized cookies. On a few, we even tucked chocolate chip inside the cherry for a chocolate surprise, those were ok. We really liked the ones with just the halved cherry inside and there were not many left to even frost as everyone kept eating them. The ones we did have left over for frosting, we dipped in some melted chocolate and sprinkled with ground pecans. Wow, that made it taste like chocolate covered cherry. Will make again.","reviewRating":{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Rating","ratingValue":5,"worstRating":1,"bestRating":5}},{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Review","datePublished":"2011-01-18","author":{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Person","name":"CyanSword"},"reviewBody":"definitely a repeat recipe","reviewRating":{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Rating","ratingValue":5,"worstRating":1,"bestRating":5}},{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Review","datePublished":"2010-01-03","author":{"@context":"http:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"Person","name":"CyanTeepee"},"reviewBody":"Delicious cookies!! Great taste. Easy to make. At first my dough was crumbly, but I'm never terribly exact measuring flour or powdered sugar. These were great, but I did change them up a bit. I only used 1\/2 cup of confectioners' sugar in the dough, and added a few drops of red food coloring to tint the dough pink. I also added 1\/2 teaspoon of almond extract. I was worried that these cookies wouldn't travel well with the frosting so I rolled them in additional confectioners' sugar.<\/p>","CommentId":6,"DateRated":"","GUID":"3abb538d97894b83875064d59f204e8e","MemberId":5836839,"Rating":5,"ScreenName":"sugarcrystal","SubmittedDate":"12\/22\/2013 14:18"},{"Comment":"","CommentId":7,"DateRated":"02\/28\/2013 21:25","GUID":"f0e7bb2a40af44b5b16a15cdba64642e","MemberId":7156021,"Rating":5,"ScreenName":"Vocaloid_Lover","SubmittedDate":"02\/28\/2013 21:25"},{"Comment":"","CommentId":8,"DateRated":"12\/17\/2012 15:30","GUID":"68104EC522C84E3D999019174EE2EEA7","MemberId":3552105,"Rating":3,"ScreenName":"kafaughn","SubmittedDate":"12\/17\/2012 15:30"},{"Comment":"","CommentId":9,"DateRated":"03\/27\/2012 11:46","GUID":"b93906b208494e0bb919470633cbfb66","MemberId":4908810,"Rating":5,"ScreenName":"marshwhit","SubmittedDate":"03\/27\/2012 11:46"},{"Comment":"","CommentId":10,"DateRated":"12\/21\/2011 16:31","GUID":"9F02533D411D4D5CA1A020C8785EF687","MemberId":888201,"Rating":5,"ScreenName":"schield","SubmittedDate":"12\/21\/2011 16:31"},{"Comment":"

I'm decreasing the flour next time. They came together O.K. to bake but there was a flour aftertaste. The Mexican wedding cookie recipe I usually make uses 1 cup of butter to 2 cups of flour. Dough was very dry had to add several tablespoons of milk to get dough to stick, cookies ended up turning out great. Will make again.<\/p>","CommentId":19,"DateRated":"01\/08\/2011 13:46","GUID":"b56706da87a24eacbb9e0f97201fa040","MemberId":5292041,"Rating":5,"ScreenName":"blueberry chaser","SubmittedDate":"01\/08\/2011 13:46"},{"Comment":"","CommentId":20,"DateRated":"12\/22\/2010 22:22","GUID":"87924aad8e8a4d99afa6edf99a559e77","MemberId":2527823,"Rating":4,"ScreenName":"Linda Wann","SubmittedDate":"12\/22\/2010 22:22"},{"Comment":"
