I'm a peasant at heart and love beans and okra. This was very good and my family enjoyed it too. However, I never put rice in dishes like this (ie: jambalaya) as it becomes too thick and sticky as leftovers. I learned long ago to serve \"over\" cooked rice to maintain the sauce's integrity.
