This a nice change to prepare butternut squash. I used Gruyere cheese, but my gut told me 2 cups of cream and cheese would be too much. I went with only 1 cup of cream, and I'm glad I did. The flavor was very good and it was easy to put together. I love butternut squash and thought this was a unique way to serve it. The only issues were that the casserole came out very watery. I would make a roux next time I make this. Also this took about 90 minutes to bake until the squash was tender. Maybe it was my oven? I don\u2019t know, but I will give extra time next time. I served it with roast chicken and green salad. I used Gruy\u00e8re cheese. I will make again with adjustments.
