Followed the recipe exactly, but they came out very dry and cakey with a crusty top which crumbled when I cut through it. The taste was fine, just need WAY to be way more moist for my taste. Ingredients: <\/h4>\r\n
    \r\n
  • 4 eggs<\/li>\r\n
  • 2 cups sugar<\/li>\r\n
  • 1 cup butter, melted<\/li>\r\n
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour<\/li>\r\n
  • 2-1\/2 teaspoons almond extract<\/li>\r\n
  • Confectioners' sugar<\/li><\/ul>\r\n

    Directions: <\/h4>\r\n

    In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until lemon-colored. Beat in butter and extract; gradually stir in the four and mix well. Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan.
        Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
