If you want a change from mashed potatoes try these perfect creamed potatoes. All the richness of mashed potatoes (there are butter and milk n here!) but there’s also texture, a bit of spice and bright herbs.<\/p>\n
Simply boil cubed potatoes, make a creamy white sauce and combine the two for a side that works for a weeknight meal with breaded mustard and sage pork cutlets<\/a> or a dinner party-worthy coffee-rubbed ribeye steak<\/a>.<\/p>\n In a large saucepan, add the potatoes and cover with water. HAve made it like this for years and is a quick meal when you add some canned or fresh corn to it.
